After Four Months of Pain Following an Ankle Sprain, Decompression Surgery Was Performed On Our Patients Peroneal and Sural Nerves

Our patient suffered a ankle sprain that ended up preventing her from being able to work for 6 months. She was diagnosed with chronic regional pain syndrome by her podiatrist, she was sent to our office, where we identified a decompression of her common peroneal never, superficial peroneal nerve and deep peroneal nerve and sural nerve. Seven weeks after the operation, her quality of life was greatly improved, no longer finding herself in pain while walking, standing or sleeping.
