Revision Tarsal Tunnel Operation - 4 Months Postop

This patient is 4 months out from a revision of a tarsal tunnel release that was done elsewhere. We took her back to the operating room to try to improve her symptoms that continued to plague her. She has had an excellent outcome. The nerve was released completely, where as previously it had not been completely decompressed because several critical areas were missed that are important for a good outcome. Revising this operation allowed us to improve her pain, numbness, and tingling.

If you have had problems with your tarsal tunnel operation and have the same or worse pain, please feel free to contact Dr Eric H. Williams at the Dellon Institute for Peripheral Nerve Surgery in Baltiomre, Marlyand at 410-337-5400.
