A Special Thanks to Rafael and Aidan

I wanted to give a shout-out here to Rafael Tiongco, a 4th-yearDr. Willams With Rafael medical student, for his help in getting several scientific papers published for us.   He is a medical student applying to plastic surgery residencies right now.  He has been working tirelessly for the past several years doing research with the Plastic Surgery department at Johns Hopkins and their staff.  We were blessed to have him rotate with us in our office and benefit from his interest in peripheral nerve surgery.   He was able to help me with getting our peer-reviewed article “Ultrasound as a Useful Tool for a Peripheral Nerve Surgeon: Examples in Clinical Practice” published in the Journal of Reconstructive Microsurgery.

In addition,  Aidan Weitzner, a 1st-year medical student, and Rafael were able to help us publish an interesting case report “An Anterior Femoral Nerve Glomus Tumor Causing 20 Years of Neuropathic Pain: A Case Report”  in the Journal Pain Medicine Case Reports.

I wanted to thank them for their work in pushing these two projects to completion.

THANKS FOLKS!
