Before I consulted with Dr. Williams about my condition, I was in a pretty desperate state. I would say I was at the end of my rope.
The pain was in a part of my leg just above the knee, kind of on the side of my thigh—not the back of the leg. The nerves in my leg would burn with really strong, intense sensations. Even light touch on my skin was extremely sensitive.
If a sheet touched my leg, it was painful. If air blew across my skin, it was painful. It wasn’t just internal—it was external too. Sometimes, it felt like bugs were crawling on my leg. Other times, it felt like when your foot falls asleep, with that tingling sensation.
But that tingling? That was actually the pleasant part of my symptoms.
More often, what was truly ruining me were the burning sensations and the shooting pains.
The burning felt like someone had taken a hot curling iron and was pressing it into my skin. The shooting pain could come on suddenly, strong, and crippling. I would yelp from the intensity.
I spent a lot of time—and basically the rest of my money—just trying to get some relief. I was miserable. Desperate. I felt like an animal that needed to be put out of its misery. I was done.
I even went to a very reputable hospital—one of the best in the country. They discharged me and said:
"We don’t have any doctors here who can help you."
Then I found Dr. Williams online. I was so relieved. The stories on his website sounded exactly like what I was going through.
Hearing those stories helped me identify the real problem, and I realized what the solution probably was. I knew I needed to talk to him.
When Dr. Williams started speaking with me, he immediately put me at ease. He knew exactly where my problem was. He came up with a plan, explained everything clearly, and really took his time. His staff was great. The entire experience was really positive.
Finally, I had a glimmer of hope.
Dr. Williams showed me how damaged the nerve in my leg really was—it wasn’t pretty. But he took good care of me.
I agreed to share my story because I want other people to find this website, to hear the stories of people he’s helped—because I’m one of them.
And I’m very grateful to him.
