This patient had over a year of pain in the groin and testicle after hernia repair. We removed the ilioinguinal, iliohypogastric, and genitofemoral nerve laparoscopically and decompressed the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve. He has had essentially complete resolution of his pain. The "elephant" is gone! These nerves do not affect sexual function.
