This patient struggled for 3 years with severe pain in the right lateral thigh. We diagnosed that she had a nerve compression (pinched nerve) in the thigh called the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve. This nerve was decompressed through a small 2 inch incision by the hip. This is her one year anniversary. She has had excellent improvement in her pain.
