Meraligia Paresthetica-Compression of the Lateral Femoral Cutaneous Nerve

This patient is 3 months out from decompression of the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve at the lateral thigh for a nerve compression here causing pain, numbness, and burning down the lateral thigh to the knee (meralgia paresthetica). She has had an incredible response to surgery dropping her pain levels from a 9 to 1 on her pain scale. Needless to say, we are both delighted.
