I learned a lot caring for this young lady. She is a very courageous woman who had pain severe enough in both of her groins that she could no longer make it through her school classes and had dropped out of classes. It turns out that we believe her pain was from injuries that occurred to these nerves as she was moved back and forth from her wheel chair. We took out both the ilioinguinal and iliohypogastric nerve on both sides of her pelvis through small incisions. She is now back in classes, off all of her medications, and doing well. We could not be more pleased.
