This patient has had chronic neuropathic pain for 5 years with a diagnosis of idopathic peripheral neuropathy. We diagnosed her with bilateral nerve compressions in the lower extremities. She was nearly disabled with pain over the past 2 years. She is one year from surgery on the left leg and 6 months from surgery on the right leg. Multiple nerves were decompressed on both legs including the common peroneal nerve, the tibial nerve in the tarsal tunnel, the superficial peroneal nerve, and the deep peroneal nerve. She has had 80% improvement in her pain, associated with a decrease in her pain medications and an increase in her activities.
