This patient is one month out from a decompression of the common peroneal nerve and proximal tibial nerve and calf.  She had severe pain, burning, hypersensitivity and numbness in the sole of her foot as well as the top of her foot.  She also had weakness and could not flex her toes down at all.  Within one month after surgery the patient already has substantial improvements in all of her symptoms including the muscle strength of her toes.  She is walking better and has less disability than before surgery.  We could not be more excited.
